• Where to find tidal information (EasyTide, Internet)
• Relevance to us: Slipways / Launching, Anchoring, Depth, Sea Conditions (Wind With & Wind Against Tide), Safety
• Tidal Streams: 'Show' your students a visual representation (i.e. on a buoy)
• DO NOT TEACH: 'how tides occur, tidal curves, rule of 12th or tidal diamonds (if they want to learn more recommend the RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship course

UNDERSTANDS: 

• How to interpret tidal information

• How to interpret tidal information & add it to Chart Datum to get depth.
